Step into the launch pad and prepare yourself! Once the floor drops out from under you, you’re hurled into a nearly vertical, 20-foot free fall followed immediately by a 360-degree, high-speed loop.

Safety Requirements

Safety Requirements
  • Height: 48 inches tall minimum. No exceptions.
  • Weight: 300 lbs maximum.
  • Each rider must possess the physical and cognitive ability to remain in the supine position and control their limbs during the course of the ride.
  • This ride is recommended for guests who are strong swimmers and in good health and good physical condition. Guests are not permitted to wear life jackets while riding this body slide.
  • Only one rider permitted at a time.

  • The attendant will tell you when you may ride.
  • Riders must lean back against the flume, feet first, looking straight ahead with chin down, legs crossed at the ankles, and arms crossed over the chest with hands on opposite shoulders and elbows in.
  • Remain in the riding position. Do not stop on the ride. Changing position, forming chains, double riding or lap riding are not permitted. At no time shall guests slide headfirst, dive from anywhere on the slide, or misuse the slide in any fashion.
  • Exit the landing area immediately.

  • This is a high-thrill ride. Riders will experience rapid acceleration and deceleration while traveling forward and side to side.

For your safety, you should be in good health to ride.

  • Only you know your physical conditions or limitations. If you suspect your health could be at risk for any reason, or you could aggravate a pre-existing condition of any kind, DO NOT RIDE.
  • Pregnant women, guests with heart conditions, neck, back, bone/joint problems, high blood pressure, guests who have experienced a recent illness or surgery, and/or guests under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not permitted to ride/should not participate.

Eyewear and loose articles (jewelry, clothing) must be secured or removed prior to riding.

Suitable swimwear is required. Any bathing suit with plastic/metal rivets or ornamentation is not permitted.

Footwear must be removed before participating in body slides activities.

Great Wolf Lodge requires guests to obey all written warnings and directions and behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to injuring themselves or others.


Failure to abide by these rules may result in injury to yourself and others and could result in removal from the water park.

What are the water park hours at the Great Wolf Lodge in Colorado Springs?

For water park hours during your stay, please view our Indoor Water Park page. You can arrive as early as 1:00 pm on the day of your arrival to access the water park before room check-in at 4:00 pm.

How much is a water park day pass at the Great Wolf Lodge in Colorado Springs?

You can enjoy our entire indoor water park at Great Wolf Lodge in Colorado Springs, CO with a Day Pass. Please see our Day Pass Page for pricing on both Half Day and Full Day Passes. Passes are free for children ages 2 and under.

What is included in a stay at Great Wolf Lodge?

Great Wolf Lodge guests have unlimited access to our 84-degree indoor water park, filled with slides, pools, and more. Guests are also invited to enjoy free daily events and activities, including dance parties, arts and crafts, and story time. Our Adventure Park is also full of attractions available at an additional cost. Parking is not included in the room rate.

Are life jackets provided?

Coast Guard approved life jackets are available on a first come, first serve basis. We strongly recommend that children under 48 inches and weak or non-swimmers wear a life jacket. Please note that inflatable toys are not allowed in the water park.

Are towels provided in the water park?

Towels are provided for your family in the water park as well as bathing towels in your suite. You may wish to bring a beach towel or cover up as we ask that the towels stay in the water park area. Towels in the water park are included but are subject to a fee if not returned.

Are lockers available in the water park?

We do have a locker room with small lockers available for your use. The lockers are rented on a daily basis for a nominal fee. Larger items, such as luggage, will need to be kept in your room or vehicle.
