Do you accept prepaid cards and debit cards? About My Trip Planning

For prepaid cards, we recommend that you have at least 20% over your payment in order to ensure enough funds are available on the card.

Debit Cards may be used to allow charging back to the room. The use of a debit card at the time of check-in will initiate an immediate deduction from your bank account and the release of the authorization for any unused funds may take up to 30 days or longer to be processed. Great Wolf Lodge is not responsible for overdrafts or fees associated with your debit card.

Will my room be ready when I arrive? About My Reservation

Room check-in does not begin until 4:00 p.m. or as your room becomes available. However, you can arrive as early as 1:00 p.m. to begin using the water park. There are changing rooms, lockers and showers available for you.

What time is check-in? About My Reservation

Check-in time begins at 4 p.m. or as rooms become available. However, you are welcome to play in the water park as early as 1 p.m. In the event that your room is not ready, we recommend that you pack a smaller bag with bathing suits and swim gear and leave the rest of your luggage locked in your car. Stop by the front desk to let us know you're here and pick up your water park wrist bands. There are lockers, showers, and changing areas available for your use in the water park. We require guest checking in to be at least 21 years of age. A valid, Government Issued Photo ID is required upon check-in along with credit card for incidental charges. Your card will be authorized for a daily amount on your reservation if you would like to allow charging on your reservation.

Do I have to add children under the age of 2 to my reservation? About My Trip Planning

Children under 2 years of age are considered free for access to the water park and lodging, but they are considered occupants in the suite. When setting up a reservation online, we require the number of children under 2 to be listed.

 

Do you accept foreign currency? About My Trip Planning

At Great Wolf Lodge Niagara all prices are presented in Canadian dollars. We accept U.S. Dollars at the Front Desk only for payment and change will be given in Canadian currency. Please see the Front Desk for current exchange rates. Exchange is given on U.S. bills only. Exchange will not be given on coin. U.S. currency exchange is done in Canadian currency only.

What is the Municipal Accommodation Tax? About My Trip Planning

The City of Niagara Falls passed By-law No. 2018-104 to implement a mandatory Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT) of $2.00 per room + HST, per night as of January 1, 2019. The Municipal Accommodation Tax applies to all accommodation in the City of Niagara Falls.

Do you sell day passes to the water park? About My Trip Planning

Here at Great Wolf Lodge, our water parks are reserved exclusively for our registered guests. This is our way to minimize overcrowding and long lines.

Are coolers permitted in the water park? About the Water Park

You are welcome to bring coolers to the lodge; however, coolers, outside food and beverage and glass containers are not permitted in the water park area or on the outdoor pool deck.

Can I use the room telephone to make personal calls? About the Lodge

You do have the ability to dial out from suite phones. Local calls are included in your stay. There is a nominal fee for each long distance call.

What is included with the cost of the suites? About My Trip Planning

When you stay at Great Wolf Lodge, your water park passes are included for each registered guest. These water park passes allow access to the water park through the day of your departure. The rate also includes parking, and access to all events.

Do you have RV parking and hookups? About My Trip Planning

Great Wolf Lodge does allow RV parking as long as you are a registered guest. We do not offer any hook ups or dumping stations.

Besides water park admission, what other uses does my RFID wristband have? About My Reservation

Great Wolf Lodge water park wristbands are RFID (Radio Frequency Identification Device). This means you don't have to carry cash or room keys! You can use your wristband to open your suite door and you have the option of setting your wristband up for purchases throughout the lodge. There may be fees associated with the replacement of RFID wristbands. RFID wristbands can also be used to scan pictures on our waterpark slides.

What is the common attire and footwear for the water park? About the Water Park

We recommend that you bring bathing suits, aqua socks or flip flops for the 84-degree water park. Our lodge is considered casual but we do ask that when you are outside of the water park that shirts and shoes are worn.

How do I set up a group stay or event at Great Wolf Lodge? About My Trip Planning

Does the lodge offer a commissionable rate for travel agents? About My Trip Planning

Travel agents can receive a commission on the best available rates when reservations are booked through the Reservations Center or a GDS system using their IATA number.

How much of the park is outdoors? Is there a need for sunscreen? About the Water Park

The majority of our water park is indoors. There is no need for sunscreen while playing in the indoor water park, but we do encourage using sunscreen when spending time at our outdoor water park and attractions.

Each suite has a microwave and an efficiency style refrigerator, approximately 3' tall and 2' wide.

What amenities are open to the public? About the Lodge

Excluding the water park and MagiQuest, all additional amenities are open to the public. This includes our restaurants, spas, bowling alley and mini golf.

Where can I purchase toiletries if I forgot something? About the Lodge

The Trading Post Gift Shop sells a few essential toiletries in case you forget to pack them.

Will my family be required to wear face masks during our stay? About Health & Safety Changes

As part of our Paw Pledge program to safeguard our guests and pack members we now require all guests, ages 2 and older, to wear a face covering that fully covers their nose and mouth, and secures under their chin, while visiting our resorts.  Guests are required to wear a face covering in all public areas of the resort except while dining, visiting outdoor areas where a physical distance of six feet is maintainable, or when actively enjoying the water park attractions.

How do I reserve an accessible suite? About My Trip Planning

Accessible suites are labeled as such and marked by an accessible icon within the booking process. If you would prefer to make a reservation over the phone, please call 800.605.9653. We can offer a variety of options to meet your needs!

Are pets allowed? Service animals? About My Trip Planning

For the health and comfort of our guests we are a pet free resort.  Only Service Animals as defined by the ADA are allowed in the resort.  Service Animals are not allowed in the pools and attractions of the waterpark.   If you would like information on full service kennels in the Niagara Falls area please call us at 905.354.4888.

Is grilling / cooking permitted at the resort? About the Lodge

Grilling, cooking, birthday candles or any other types of open flames are not permitted in suites, patios/balconies or on resort grounds.

Are rollaway beds or air mattresses available to reserve during stay? About the Lodge

Unfortunately, we do not provide rollaway beds or air mattresses to our guests.

What time is check-out? About My Reservation

Check-out time is 11 a.m. As our guest, please feel free to enjoy the water park facilities until closing. We recommend packing a smaller bag with bathing suits and a change of clothes and leave the rest of your luggage locked in your car. If a late checkout is desired we offer a 2:00 p.m. check-out for an additional fee. Please check with the front desk about pricing and availability.

Are the waterslides wheelchair accessible? About the Water Park

Waterslides and our elevated attractions are not wheelchair accessible.

Am I able to charge things back to my room? About My Reservation

Please note that the credit card provided at check-in will be charged the remaining balance of room and tax or any add-on packages. In addition to this a $250 security deposit per stay will be authorized at the time of check in. As long as we have a $250/stay authorization on a credit or debit card, you are welcome to charge back to your suite. Upon check-out the authorization for any unused funds will be released. Based upon the business rules of your bank, this may take 72 hours to 10 days to be processed depending upon the card you had authorized. Great Wolf Lodge is not responsible for overdrafts or fees associated with your credit card.

Why is there a maximum occupancy in the suites? About My Trip Planning

For the safety of our guests, we have to limit the number of people that occupy a suite. At Great Wolf Lodge, we do offer certain suites that can accommodate a maximum of 10 people. Infants are free of charge for water park access and lodging, but they are counted as an occupant in a suite.

Are lockers available in the water park? About the Water Park

We do have locker rentals available within the water park for your use. The lockers are rented from the Trading Post Swim Shop on a daily basis for a nominal fee. Larger items, such as luggage, will need to be kept in your room or vehicle.

Do children need to be supervised in the water park? About the Water Park

All children under the age of 18 should be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times in the water park.

Do you allow casts in the water park? About the Water Park

Casts are allowed in the water park. There are requirements for certain rides for maintaining body positions such as grasping handles or keeping legs in position. These criteria, in addition to how the cast will contact the ride will determine your ability to wear a cast on a ride.

If my family has food allergies, how can I let the resort know? About My Reservation

We welcome guests with special dietary needs. We would be happy to discuss allergen-free alternatives in advance. We have specially trained chefs that can offer a variety of special items for your family to enjoy.  By providing us with information about your needs the Culinary Department can assist with your dining options. Please contact the lodge to speak with a Food and Beverage Management team member.

Are there any water park restrictions if I am pregnant? About the Water Park

Because we do offer some rides that are considered to be extreme, we encourage you to view the restrictions for each attraction. We also discourage use of the hot tubs.

Can I request a particular suite style during check in? About My Reservation

Suite style preference must be booked at time of reservation.

What Amenities are included in the Timber Wolf Cottages? About the Lodge

You will enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, living/dining area with fireplace, 2 full bathrooms, in room safe, covered patio and access to our gas firepit and natural gas barbecues.  In the bathrooms, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and each with a hair dryer.  The Kitchen features full fridge, freezer, oven/range, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and coffee maker. Also included in the kitchen is a place setting for 10, pots and pans, baking sheets,  mixing bowls, wine glasses, drinking glasses, mugs, a variety of cooking utensils along with barbecue utensils.  For a full list please contact guest services at nfguestservices@greatwolfniagara.com

Are advanced deposits for reservations required? About My Trip Planning

We require one night's stay plus tax be paid as an advance deposit at time of booking in order to guarantee reservation. This can be paid by credit card. Cheques cannot be used as a form of payment at the lodge. The credit card used for the deposit must be present at the time of check in.

 

What should I do if the credit card holder will not be present upon arrival? About My Trip Planning

The credit card used for the deposit must be present at the time of check-in. If the reservation is being paid for as a gift for someone, we encourage the use of Great Wolf Lodge Gift Cards

Can we request a balcony or patio during the reservation process? About My Trip Planning

Balcony/Patio suites can be reserved online by clicking "with Balcony/Patio" on the Suites page during the booking process. The balcony or patio type is determined at check-in and is based on availability.

What amenities are in each suite? About the Lodge

Each suite at Great Wolf Lodge comes standard with microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, hairdryer, and in-room safe.

Does the resort have wheelchair accessibility? About the Lodge

Our hotel public spaces, accessible rooms, and water park decks are ADA compliant. Use of wheelchairs are reserved for emergency situations only.

Are there chairs (aside from cabanas) to leave our belongings? About the Water Park

Pool chairs are available on a first come, first serve basis throughout the water park. There are also lockers available in the water park for guest use. Larger items, such as luggage, will need to be kept in your suite or vehicle.

What is the smoking policy? About the Lodge

Great Wolf Lodge is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is not allowed in any area of the resort including guest room patios and balconies, the water park, outdoor pool or hot tub. This includes the use of vaporizers, electronic cigarettes, marijuana, tobacco and smokeless tobacco. A $250.00 cleaning fee will be applied if this policy is not followed.

Can I use scooters, Segways or Hoverboards inside the lodge? About the Lodge

For the safety of our guests Segways, Hoverboards, self-propelled scooters, and similar devices are not allowed to be used, charged or stored inside the hotel.  If you operate a mobility device for medical purposes please provide medical documentation upon arrival.

What are your guidelines for swimwear? About the Water Park

Suitable swimwear is required for personal safety. Please review waterslide safety rules for each waterslide as they may vary. The Safety standards do not permit cover-ups, loose clothing, headwear, including Hijabs that wrap around the neck on select waterslides and attractions. Swim caps are allowed.

Does the resort have an ATM? About the Lodge

Yes. Two ATM's are conveniently located for your use.

Does the resort offer child care? About the Lodge

We do not offer parent free day care or babysitting services.

How clean is the resort? About the Lodge

Our resorts consistently rank high in cleanliness as measured by our guests! Our housekeeping staff works hard to make sure each room is cleaned to the highest standards and to keep our common areas spotless. We use green cleaning chemicals that also meet disinfection standards. Our water park uses state-of-the-art water treatment equipment to ensure our water quality exceeds health code requirements and we sanitize our water park floors every day. We ask that guests shower before and after using the water park and we ask that guests follow the CDC's 6 Pleas for Healthy Swimming, which include taking children to the bathroom often and not swimming when ill (www.healthyswimming.org). We also ask that diaper dependent persons wear a swim diaper. Our retail stores have swim diapers available for a nominal fee.

Does Great Wolf Lodge Niagara charge Destination Marketing Fees or Tourism Improvement Fees? About My Trip Planning

Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls does not charge Destination Marketing fees or Tourism Improvement fees.

Are towels provided in the water park? About the Water Park

Pool towels are available at the Towel Centre located in Bear Track Landing Waterpark. Bringing your own beach towels or cover ups is recommended as pool towels must remain in the water park. Bathing towels provided in your guest suite are to remain in the room.

Are life jackets provided? About the Water Park

DOT (Department of Transport) approved life jackets are available on a first come, first serve basis. We strongly recommend that children under 48 inches and weak or non-swimmers wear a life jacket. Please note that inflatable toys are not allowed in the water park.

Are cabanas available to use in the water park? About the Water Park

Cabanas are available to rent daily for your family's comfort and convenience at the indoor and outdoor water park. A cabana has seating for six with a table, four chairs and two lounge chairs. There is also a ceiling fan and a mini refrigerator that is stocked with an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages. Please contact us directly at 888.878.1818 to reserve your cabana today!

Are Pack 'n' Play cribs available to reserve during stay? About the Lodge

Unfortunately, we do not provide Pack ‘n Play cribs to our guests.

Can my child use the water park if he/she wears diapers? About the Water Park

Diaper wearing guests are asked to wear a protective swim diaper. Please see a Pack Member for assistance. Parents: take children to the restroom often as polluting pools causes an unhealthy condition.

We want you to know there is nothing more important to us than the health and safety of our guests, pack members, and communities. These requests cannot be guaranteed, but our guest services team will do their best to fulfill your particular request(s).

Does the resort have on-site restaurants? About the Lodge

How can I secure valuables during my stay? About the Lodge

Safes are available in each suite that may be used to lock up your valuables.

What is the minimum age requirement to confirm a reservation? About My Trip Planning

Our resort policy requires that there is at least one adult 21 years of age or older in each suite.

How secure is the web site when I'm booking online? About My Trip Planning

Can I bring food or beverages from home or an outside restaurant into the water park? About the Water Park

No outside food or beverages are permitted in the water park, however, there are areas designated outside of the water park for guests to dine on their own food. Please have a look at all dining options here.

Does Great Wolf Lodge provide Sign Language interpretation services? About the Lodge

Sign Language interpretation services can be requested for shows and amenities with a minimum of 10 days advanced notice. Requests for interpretation services can be made by sending an email to the following address nfguestservices@greatwolfniagara.com . Is my child safe in the water park? About the Water Park

We employ hundreds of lifeguards, which have extensive training in monitoring pools and operating rides. You may observe some of their regular drills performed during operation, which provides real-life practice. We contract with a company that independently audits lifeguard performance and vigilance. In addition, we would like to remind parents that although we have award-winning lifeguards, they are not a substitute for responsible parental supervision. Lifeguards are provided to monitor and respond to emergencies, but not to baby-sit children. Always keep your child within arm's reach and if your child is in the water, you should be too.

What is your policy for adverse weather conditions? About My Reservation

Great Wolf Lodge attractions and water park pools and slides may close due to adverse weather conditions, high winds, heavy rain, and/or lightning. This precaution is taken to preserve the safety of our guests and Pack Members. No refunds or discounts will be issued in the event of a slide, pool, or activity closure as a result of extreme weather.

What items should I bring on my trip? About My Reservation

Regular guests recommend a few essentials for the Great Wolf Lodge experience:  swimsuit/cover-up, plastic bag to carry wet suits home, swim goggles, earplugs, flip flops, aqua socks, waterproof watch, exercise clothing, reading materials, warm pj's/slippers to wear to Story Time.  We provide towels in the water park area. If you're not swimming, you may still wish to bring comfortable clothing for our 84-degree water park area. In case you do forget an item at home, please come and visit us at the Trading Post Gift shop where we offer a large variety of products.

Where can I charge my electric car? About My Trip Planning

We have a charging station for up to two electric cars here at the property. Please place your request through the front desk whom will have one of our Pack Member's guide you to our charging station.

Are self-service laundry facilities available in the resort? About the Lodge

Guest laundry is available on-site. Please check with the front desk or your Lodge Life to find the location. 

Can we bring our own puddle jumpers/life jacket? About the Water Park

Guests are permitted to bring their own life jackets. Coast Guard approved life jackets are available on a first come, first serve basis. We strongly recommend that children under 48 inches and weak or non-swimmers wear a life jacket. Please note that inflatable toys are not allowed in the water park.

Does the resort have a fitness centre? About the Lodge

** Iron Horse Fitness Center is temporarily closed due to social distancing guidelines.

We have a fitness centre, so bring your workout clothing. Our Iron Horse, Fitness Room has treadmills, a recumbent bike and TVs to make your workout enjoyable.

 

What is available at the in-lodge spa? About the Lodge

Elements Spa Salon is a full-service spa with a Zen-like atmosphere which features a variety of products. Get a massage, manicure, pedicure or facial. Reservations are recommended. There is also Scooops Kid Spa which specializes in manicures and pedicures for children 12 and under.

Is Internet access available? About the Lodge

Wireless internet access is available throughout our lodge, which you can access from your room or common areas. 

What is the guest room housekeeping availability? About the Lodge

Daily housekeeping "Stayover" service for guests staying multiple nights has been temporarily suspended. Arrangements can be made with Guest Services for additional items to be delivered to your room.

Can I use cash at the resort? About the Lodge

Our resort is operating cashless; please be prepared to use a credit card or set up your lodge wristband to make purchases. We will not accept cash at check-in or any outlets.

What is the cancellation policy? About My Reservation

Standard Cancellation Policy: Guests making a reservation eight or more days from their arrival date have 24 hours in which to modify or cancel a reservation with no penalties or fees. After that point, guests who wish to cancel their reservation are subject to the following fees:

  • $50 if canceled 8 or more days from arrival,
  • $100 if canceled 3-7 days from arrival, or the cost of a one-night stay if rate is under $100
  • First night’s deposit if cancellation is received less than 3 days from arrival

We recognize some guests booked using a special, one-time discount not transferable to other calendar dates. While we cannot guarantee our ability to match discounts exactly, we are committed to helping you find another available date where we can offer a comparable rate. Please contact Customer Service to reschedule.
