Training

We ensure all our Pack Members receive the appropriate training and guidance to reach their full potential. At Great Wolf, there are plenty of opportunities to grow, including cross-functional training, leadership and development, and certification programs.






Functional Training

We provide Pack Members all the training necessary in the role they're hired for. To us, background is only part of the equation - functional training is also available no matter how much past experience Pack Members have for their roles. We want you to succeed and thrive no matter what.

Leadership & Development

We provide all Pack Members the opportunity to learn and grow into leaders. Our top-of-the-line leadership & development education includes training for the Supervisor through General Manager positions for Pack Members of all leadership backgrounds.

Cross-Training

We believe cross-training is essential for Pack Members to operate at their best. Pack Members can grow by learning multiple functions to do their job and do it well.

Certification

We believe in the power of specialized training for Pack Members to learn and grow. That's why we offer several certifications across all our departments to help Pack Members advance their careers and be successful.

Key Talent Program

Great Wolf offers a key talent program for our corporate teams as well as both a Manager and Director key talent program inclusive of all Lodges. The 1-year program focuses on the development of 3 core competencies, Leadership, Financial and Business Acumen and Functional Knowledge. Program participants will receive training on these topics in a variety of formats (live, self-paced, partner discussions etc.) and be provided opportunities and experiences to apply their learnings.

Supervisor Essentials Program

Great Wolf’s Supervisor Essentials Program is designed to prepare front line Pack Members to advance into Supervisory positions.  This program focuses on development of skills required to be a supervisor at Great Wolf with focus on areas such as Coaching, Engagement Performance Management, Communication, Safety & Compliance, and Recruitment & Selection.  Upon completion of Great Wolf’s program, participants also have the option to sit for the exam to receive the “Certified Hospitality Supervisor” (CHS) designation from the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
