Face Coverings Required

Our current face covering policy allows individuals fully vaccinated against COVID-19 the option to not wear face coverings while visiting our resorts.  We continue to recommend that all guests consider wearing face coverings while visiting indoor areas of our resort, particularly those areas where a larger number of people gather.  The CDC considers individuals as fully vaccinated two weeks following their final vaccination dose. 

We also continue to require all individuals ages 5 and older who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to use face coverings while in public areas inside our resort, except when actively eating or drinking, or actively participating in our water-based attractions in the indoor water park. 

Acceptable face coverings must have at least two layers, fully cover the nose and mouth, secure under the chin, and fit snuggly along the sides of the face. Face coverings should not require the use of hands to hold in place, it should secure using ear loops, ties or elastic bands. Face masks with exhalation valves, made with mesh material, cloth bandanas, veils, and costume masks are not acceptable. A similar face covering policy will apply to our pack members at the resort. 

We appreciate your support of this initiative, as well as other protocols put into place as part of our Paw Pledge program to ensure the health and safety of our guests and pack members while they play together at our resort. 

 

Health & Safety Program Overview

Great Wolf Lodge is committed to keeping families safe as they play together at our resorts. As part of our company-wide Paw Pledge Program, we partnered with medical experts, public health officials, sanitizations specialists, and industrial engineers to develop new procedures that focus on disinfection and sanitization, physical distancing, personal protection, and minimizing surface interactions in all guest areas across the resort.

  • It is mandatory that all unvaccinated guests ages 5+ wear a face covering that fully covers their nose & mouth and secures under their chin.
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the lodge. 
  • Guests should maintain physical distancing while at the resort and use the distancing markers located throughout the resort. All entertainment events are physically distanced and use markers to provide spacing between family groups.  
  • We partnered with Procter & Gamble to review our cleaning and sanitization procedures to create the CleanPLUS Experience for guest rooms and across all public areas including the water park, retail outlets, and food and beverage locations.
  • Minimize surface touching and individual contact by using the mobile check-in and food ordering functions in the Great Wolf Lodge app, paying for items with a credit card or resort wristband, and offering limited housekeeping services for guests staying multiple nights. 
  • Completion of a guest wellness questionnaire will be required for each reservation as part of the check-in process; preview the questionnaire.

Please postpone your visit if anyone in your party recently experienced a fever, ailment, or any symptoms consistent with COVID-19. We are waiving fees for reservation changes due to family illness, so please stay home and err on the side of caution if someone’s health status is questionable. Guests visiting the resort acknowledge there is an inherent risk in exposure to COVID-19 in any public venue.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my family be required to wear a face mask during our stay if vaccinated?

Face coverings are required for guests ages 5+ unless fully vaccinated.  Unvaccinated guests are required to wear a face covering in all areas of the resort except when dining, outdoors with proper distancing, or when enjoying the water park attractions.   The CDC considers individuals as fully vaccinated two weeks following their final vaccination dose.  

Are you validating if someone is vaccinated?

We trust our guests to comply with the requirements of this updated policy and to ensure members of their party, including children, wear face coverings if not fully vaccinated.  Great Wolf Lodge does not independently verify the vaccination status of its guests. 

Are you still enforcing physical distancing?

Consistent with CDC guidelines, we require all guests to maintain physical distancing while at our resort and continue to have physical distancing markers throughout the resort for our guests’ convenience.

Do I need to complete a wellness questionnaire if vaccinated?

Yes, a wellness questionnaire must be completed prior to checking into our resort. You will receive the questionnaire via email the day before your scheduled arrival date and we highly recommend you complete the form before arriving at the resort to not delay the check-in process.
