Once you're done having fun at our resort, take some time to explore the rest of Niagara Falls.
Of course, you'll want to start with the Falls themselves. Head over to the Niagara Falls State Park to enjoy a view of the free-flowing waters of four of the Great Lakes into the Niagara River Gorge. The location is free of charge.
If you stick around until after dark, you'll enjoy an illuminated view of the Falls under the stars. Hundreds of LED lights have been stationed around the gorge to provide sightseers an unforgettable experience. Families can also enjoy nightly fireworks displays.
There are also some amazing restaurants located in the heart of Niagara Falls, one of the most famous being Massimo's Italian Fallsview Restaurant. The restaurant, which is owned by Massimo Capra, one of Canada's most celebrated chefs, is located on the Fallsview Dining Level of the Sheraton on the Falls hotel. Restaurant guests can enjoy his delicious Italian cuisine within direct view of the breathtaking falls.
There are also plenty of resorts in Niagara Falls worth exploring. The Crowne Plaza is located just steps away from the Falls, providing spectacular views of Ontario's most celebrated attraction. It is also just minutes away from the Clifton Hill shopping center, which can connect visitors to some of the best shopping, restaurants, and excitement in town!
Niagara Falls is a public attraction located on parkland. It can be accessed all year long, free of charge. However, many popular Niagara Falls attractions, including the Observation Tower, Niagara Cruises, and the Niagara SkyWheel, charge an admission fee.
More people flock to the Canadian side of the Falls due to the uninterrupted panoramic views of both the American Falls and Horseshoe Falls. The Niagara Falls Parkway also provides about a mile stretch for visitors to walk on the rim of the gorge above the Niagara River.
It takes a full day to explore all the Falls and the surrounding area (typically between 8 -10 hours). We recommend breaking your exploring up over the course of a couple of days. Visitors are also encouraged to extend their stay by a few days to explore the rest of Ontario.
It can be hard to visit every attraction the Falls has to offer, though there are a few that should definitely make it onto your list. Some of the most worthwhile activities include the Maid of the Mist Sightseeing Boat Tour, visiting the Cave of the Winds, and exploring the Niagara Gorge hiking trails. Adult visitors might also enjoy a trip to the Casino Niagara, which provides an impressive 95,000 feet of gaming action.
