Lodge Updates at Pocono Mountains

Lodge Refurbishment

We are nearing the completion of a multi-million-dollar renovation project at our lodge in the Pocono Mountains that will bring a variety of exciting new experiences and amenities to visitors of our resort. From a 40,000 square-foot water park expansion with seven new slides, to the addition of 30 new three-bedroom villas to the recent grand opening of our first full-service restaurant, Fireside, we’re giving families more ways than ever to strengthen their pack.

Some visible construction will continue to take place at the resort, but a majority of the resort amenities are open and available to our guests.

Loose Moose

Our buffet-style dining concept is undergoing renovations to provide a more modern aesthetic while also creating more seating options for families during busier dining periods. When the restaurant reopens, it will feature similar beloved family favorites for breakfast and dinner under a new name – Timbers Tables.

 

Expanded Water Park

We’re expanding the water-filled fun with a massive, 40,000 square foot expansion to our water park – bringing a total of 118,000 square feet of indoor pools, slides and water play areas. This new, expanded section of our water park provides guests of all ages with several new slides to experience, including the Slidewinder slide, a new two-person tube slide making its Great Wolf Lodge debut at the Pocono Mountains. 

 

Grand Lobby 

The entrance statement at the resort, the Grand Lobby, will be completely refurbished with new carpeting, furniture and fixtures. The heart of the resort will remain the primary place for complimentary family-friendly activities offered at Great Wolf Lodge, such Yoga Tails, StoryTime and fun-filled dance parties.

Woodland Villas

Adjacent to the main resort, Great Wolf Lodge is building 30, 1,500 square-foot villas designed exclusively for the Pocono Mountains resort. Each villa will feature three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious and comfortable living area, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a private outdoor living space with incredible nature views.

The Woodland Villas will also feature an exclusive check-in area with a cozy lounge where families can partake in some games, crafts or just relax.

Expected Completion Date - Fall 2023

New Guest Tower

We’re building a new room tower that will feature 202 family-friendly suites. In combination with our villas, the grand total of rooms at Great Wolf Lodge Pocono Mountains will reach 633, making it the second-largest resort in the Great Wolf Lodge portfolio.
