Pumpkin Spice Cake Pop Recipe

Looking forward to fall weather and trick-or-treating? Try out this easy and delicious pumpkin spice cake pop recipe to get in the mood! These kid-friendly, bite-sized treats are a perfect start to get your little ones involved with baking. The whole family will love them!

What You’ll Need:
1 pumpkin cake
For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
½ cup unsalted butter room temperature
4 oz. cream cheese room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
1½ cups powdered sugar sifted (180g)
For the Assembly:
1 bag orange colored candy melts (12-oz.)
2 to 4 tablespoons vegetable shortening melted lollipop sticks

 Directions:

1. Blend butter, cream cheese, vanilla and salt then slowly add in powdered sugar
2. Crumble a pumpkin cake and mix  in one cup of frosting
3. Roll into balls and freeze  for 20 min
4. Dip cake balls into orange candy coating
5. Use a piping bag to decorate the cake pops
