We have been looking over the web site for quite a while and are a bit baffled about the waterpark passes. If you stay in a suite and get four passes for the waterpark, is this including the outdoor pool, Totem Towers, Coyote Cannon, etc.?
Hi Pamela, Yes, your pass to the waterpark includes all of the indoor and outdoor areas of the waterpark. The Totem Towers, Coyote Cannon, etc. are attractions within the park. Enjoy your stay! Ericka
Does the price of the room come with a pass for the people in the rooms? Are the passes extra?
Hi Barbara, The price of the room includes passes for the guests staying there. And each night you pay for a room, you really get 2 days of waterpark because you're allowed to arrive at 1:00 on the first day and stay for as long as you want on your last day. Enjoy your stay, Ericka
What room recommendations do you suggest for 1-2 moms and 4- 6 14 year-old girls? Are meal vouchers an option? What else would you recommend?
Hi Lucette, If you wind up with 7 guests or less, I would highly recommend the Kid Cabin Suite. This gives kids their own space, television, games, etc and it's always a big hit. If you are at 8 guests, you will have to move up to the Loft Suite, or one of the 'Bear' suites. While these are large enough to hold all your guests, they don't have the novelty of the Kid Cabin Suites. You are welcome to bring your own food and there is a good sized fridge and a microwave in the room, so you may consider bringing cereal for the morning (this also helps with my early risers) and/or sandwiches for lunch. We usually get a pizza from Pizza Hut there for dinner. Also, it sounds like you might be celebrating a birthday or something. If that's the case, you should look at some of the packages, such as the birthday package or Paw Pass. You can find these on the website at the end of the suite descriptions. Have a great time! Can a room be shared by two families?
Hi Shelly: I would say that "yes" the rooms can be shared by as many families you want as long as you don't exceed the max. occupancy listed for each room - you can see the suites GWL offers and their occupancy limits on the website - greatwolf.com
Does the Great Wolf offer daily rates? We live just down the street and want to enjoy the water park, but don't need an overnight stay.
Hi Margot. I can help you with your question as I'm also located not too far from the GWL. Basically, no, they do not have "day passes" that allow you access to the water park without a room reservation. As irritating as this may be (since I know I would LOVE to just go to the water park anytime), there is a reason for this that you discover when you are a guest at the hotel - Keeping the water passes and access to all of the Lodge's great entertainment to "guests only" keeps the Dallas crowds down at the water park and gives all hotel guests a fantastic experience from beginning to end.
