Niagara Falls, Ontario

We are planning on staying at the GWL in December. The additional packages are confusing me though. Do i need to purchase one for each family member? Also, if i am staying two nights in a row, is it automatically added at check out?

We live in the Detroit Metro area and are considering a trip to either Traverse City, Sandusky or Niagara Falls, are there any big differences between any of them?

Hi Jack Great question!  Yes there are differences between them.  While I am sure that you will have a great time at any one of the 3 you choose-lets see if we can make the best choice for you and your family.  Niagara Falls is the biggest of the 3 you are looking at.  Sandusky and Traverse City are similar in size.  Whether I would go with Niagara Falls or one of the other 2 really would depend on my kids: the smaller parks are perfect for families with little ones.  It is much easier to keep track of the little ones and still plenty for them to do.  The older kids tend to like the bigger Lodges like Niagara Falls because there are more rides. The Niagara Rapids, which is a water roller coaster, is one of our favorite rides. Also Niagara is the only one of the 3 that has a wave pool. In terms of dry activities all three offer Cub Club and Northern Lights Arcade. Niagara and Traverse City both have mini golf and Traverse has MagiQuest. All three are located in wonderful destinations-can't go wrong there. I don't know whether price is a factor in your decision but Traverse City and Sandusky are less expensive than Niagara Falls. Which month has more precipitation March or June

Diane, Thanks for the additional question.  On average, June has more precipitation than March in the Kansas City area.  According to weatherbase.com, March averages about 2 inches of precipitation and June averages about 5 inches of precipitation.  We've been to the Great Wolf Lodge in both March and June and we've had a great time in both months.  Have a great trip!
