Important Guest Experience Updates

The health and safety of our guests and pack members have been our guiding principle during this pandemic. Similarly, we made a commitment to our guests to provide transparent and timely updates when they could encounter modifications or disruptions to their Great Wolf Lodge experience due to state or locally issued COVID-19 restrictions.   

We’ve been closely monitoring the status of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services’ COVID-19 mitigation order, which requires indoor water parks to close temporarily. On Wednesday, January 13, 2021, the state of Michigan announced an extension and slight modifications to the existing mitigation order. Unfortunately, the revised order continues to list water parks as a venue that must remain temporarily closed with the timeline extending to February 1, 2021. Considering the lead-time required to reopen a large, complex business like Great Wolf Lodge, and the limited advanced notice we typically receive from the state regarding the future status of these orders, we made the difficult decision to extend the temporary closure of our resort and now hope to reopen our Traverse City resort on February 8, 2021.

This will affect your upcoming stay and we have placed your reservation deposit on hold. We are sending a message to the email address provided at the time of your booking with additional details on how to rebook for a future date and receive a one-time resort credit, as well as an easy one-click option to request a refund.
