Welcome To Our One Tree Planted Scavenger Hunt!

Great Wolf Lodge is committing to planting 100,000 trees across the U.S. with a $100,000 donation to One Tree Planted. Following the devastating wildfires this past year, it’s our way to help reforestation efforts nationwide and protect our natural environment.

Join our pledge to plant 100,000 trees and learn about why trees are so important for the environment by participating in our digital scavenger hunt during Spring Breakout.

How It Works

Scavenger Hunt Stops

Stop #1: Find Your Zen

Grab a yoga mat and show you can hold the Tree Pose for one minute. Take a moment to feel both your feet root into the floor with your weight distributed equally on all four corners of each foot. Focus your gaze. Breathe. Extend your arms out long, like tree branches, and get your family to capture a photo.

Did You Know?

Trees help reduce stress and anxiety and allow us to reconnect with nature. It’s impossible to ignore that happy feeling you get while walking through a calm, tranquil forest.

Stop #2: Meet Our Forest Friends

Find Wiley and the Pack, who are roaming about their home, Great Wolf Lodge. Say hello, capture a photo and this activity is complete!

Did You Know?

Without trees, forest creatures would have nowhere to call home. A single tree can be home to hundreds of species of insect, fungi, moss, mammals, and plants. Depending on the kind of food and shelter they need, different forest animals require different types of habitat.

Stop #3: Howl Like a Wolf

Head outside to the wolf statue at the entrance to the lodge, take a deep breath, and howl like a wolf. Capture your howl in a photo or video and your task is complete!

Did You Know?

Trees help to clean the air we breathe. Through their leaves and bark, they absorb harmful pollutants and release clean oxygen for us to breathe.

Stop #4: Tipping Bucket

Head to the water park and get caught under the 1,000-gallon tipping bucket. Trees capture thousands of gallons of rainwater, reducing the risk of natural disasters. Act like a tree as the bucket dumps and snap a photo.

Did You Know?

Trees play a key role in capturing rainwater and reducing the risk of natural disasters like floods and landslides. Their intricate root systems act like filters, removing pollutants and slowing down the water’s absorption into the soil.

Finished All the Stops?
