By creating an <strong>exploding pumpkin<\/strong>, that\u2019s how! Follow the instructions below to create this fun STEM activity at home. Mom, Dad, we hope you\u2019re prepared. You\u2019ll need to take the lead here since not all the required ingredients are kid-friendly. Now, let&#8217;s get started!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Materials Needed<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1 Cup of Hydrogen Peroxide<\/li><li>Two Packets of Dry Yeast (one packet is approximately 1\/4 oz)<\/li><li>6 Tablespoons Warm Water<\/li><li>Food Coloring<\/li><li>Cylinder (at least 500 ml). Or you can use a flask that fits your liquid.<\/li><li>2 Tablespoons of Dish Soap (any will do)<\/li><li>A Pumpkin to carve into a Jack O\u2019 Lantern. Simple paw or design so the foam can go through easily.<\/li><li>Funnel<\/li><li>Safety Goggles<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note: Adjust the recipe based on the size of your Jack-o&#8217;-Lantern. You can double your potions if it\u2019s 10 inches or larger.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Create an Exploding Pumpkin This Halloween<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1:<\/strong>&nbsp;Carve your pumpkin Jack O\u2019 Lantern. Remember, adults do the carving!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2:<\/strong>&nbsp;Add the cylinder inside the pumpkin. Be careful not to touch the foam.
