4 Absolutely Amazing Things to do in LaGrange, Georgia
LaGrange, Georgia is located in the foothills of the Georgia Piedmont, just southwest of Atlanta. Though, some say the region reminds them of another place all together. General Marquis de Lafayette named the town back in the early 1800’s. When he set eyes on the rolling terrain of LaGrange, he first said it reminded him of his estate in France.
The town, however, boasts more than its natural beauty. LaGrange has developed into a major cultural hub, offering plays, museums, ballets and more. It’s also home to one of our 18 Great Wolf Lodge locations, which means there’s a 93,000 square-foot indoor waterpark for you to cool off at. We also have an entire indoor adventure area to explore, complete with a bowling alley, arcade and ropes and plenty of places to shop and dine on site. Still, if you’re planning a stay at our LaGrange location, you’ll probably want to check out the city’s bustling downtown. Listed below are a few local spots worth visiting when you come to town.
