What is the appropriate age range for Wolf Wipeout? My 6 year old wants to surf, but doesn't tend to be too adventurous.
Hi Jeanette, As long as your 6 year old meets the height requirements, he may ride Wolf Rider Wipeout. The height guidelines is as follows: Guests must be as tall as the body board (42") to participate. Enjoy!
We are trying to plan our first family vacation and a website recommended GWL. Our daughter would be about 8 months old. Is GWL accomodating to babies and will we all be able to enjoy the waterpark?
Hi Corinne, Yes, the waterpark is great for all ages including toddlers! Great Wolf Lodge has an exclusive indoor waterpark that is about the size of two football fields worth of activity pools, adventurous tube and body slides, and children's play areas. It also features Fort Mackenzie, a 4 story-12 level tree fort which has over 60 different water effects and a 1000 gallon tipping bucket. There are zero entry children's pools, a 12 level tree fort with several water effects that can be found on ground level, kiddie slides, and much more. For additional waterpark activities, please visit the Great Wolf Lodge website and select the Explore tab and view Water Parks & Activities. Howls!
My children are ages 1 year, 2 and a half, and 5 years. Can you tell me what areas of the water park the 1 year old and 2 and a half year old, will not be able to go into? I'm concerned that we are not going to all be able to stay together as a family.
Thanks for your question Stephanie! Depending on the comfort level of the children in the water, you should be able to stay together a good bit of the time. Since your oldest is still only 5, he or she may not want to do some of the things that they are able (depending on their height). While my 5 year old is tall enough to do most of the large waterslides, he opts not to! Fort McKenzie is a fun place for this age! This is the one thing that your 5 year old may like, that will probably be a bit old for the little ones. They may enjoy climbing a little, but my guess is that they won't make it very high. The river pool, the wave pool and the activity pool (as well as the pools outside if it is summer) are appropriate for all ages. There is also a toddler wading pool with 2 little water slides and a bunch of little water activities that I know your younger children will enjoy, and your 5 year old may not mind this for a little while either. All of the activities in the park are relatively close. For me, I was able to have my 5 and 6 year old play on Ft. McKenzie while I was in the toddler pool with my 3 year old - I was able to watch them all for the most part since they are right beside each other. I am sure you will all have a great time!
Do you provide towels in the waterpark?
Greetings Jucelle! Yes, towels are provided at the waterpark for your convenience. There is no need to pack extra towels. Be sure to grab a towel or two at the towel hut at the entrance of the waterpark and just deposit the wet towels in the towel receptacles on your way out. You will also find a supply of fresh towels in your room. Enjoy your trip!
Do we need to bring beach towels?
Thanks for your question Terri! There is no need to bring your own towels - Great Wolf Lodge has these available in the water park free of charge. Have a great visit!
