Trip planners for class trips, Girl Scouts, Boys Scouts, sports team and other youth groups love the flexibility and ease of planning a group excursion at Great Wolf Lodge. And group leaders applaud our efforts to be environmentally friendly through Project Green Wolf. We are the first-and only - US hotel chain to be Green SealTM Certified-Silver.

We can arrange comfortable gathering space indoors for meetings and group interaction or you are welcome to take it outside for a variety of educational activities. Have photos or presentations to share? We can provide audio or video equipment to enhance your group’s experience.

Busch Gardens, Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown/Yorktown and other off-site adventures can also be arranged at any number of the Williamsburg first-class attractions. Whether your stay is for a day or a week – Great Wolf Lodge’s friendly and fun staff will work with you to plan every detail from boxed lunches, tickets or transportation.

As an organization that places a high degree of importance on education, we can provide any number of educational programs which meet the Standards of Learning for your school or organization. Some of these programs may be included in your stay while others will cost an additional modest fee. Our popular educational programs include:

Badges and Awards
Girl Scout leaders should note we also offer a special council approved scout patch program. This patch program was especially designed for Great Wolf Lodge by Girl Scouts. Now you can plan an outing, work on your troops badges and have fun at the same time!
Kids Love To Eat
Kid-Friendly Meal Plans and snacks are especially popular with trip planners as they are kid-tested and sensibly priced. Our group sales team can assist you with all the details including arranging private banquets, boxed lunches, pizza parties or reserved restaurant seating in our themed restaurants.
When It’s Time To Play, The Sky’s The Limit
Between our enormous 79,000 square foot indoor waterpark and other fun, kid-friendly amenities such as:
- MagiQuest, a live action adventure game popular with kids of all ages,
- Northern Lights Arcade with over 100 games and ticket redemption for prizes,
- Scooops Kids Spa, where ice-cream themed pedicures and manicures are always on the menu, and
- Race Zone, a place to design, build, and race your own car!
Extend the fun…discounted rates are available when you reserve 10 or more rooms per evening. First time tour operators, booking a student and youth group of 20 rooms or more per night will receive a complimentary upgrade for either the tour escort or POC to a premium suite of choice (based on availability).
