Is it OK and safe for kids aged 13 & up to explore the park & Lodge by themselves? I will be there at all times but I have a 4 yr old & 2 teens. My older kids want to have some time to themselves including going on rides the 4 yr old can't.
Hi Stacy, As long as you feel comfortable, I see no reason why your teens can't explore GWL on their own. I suggest establishing a meeting place and bringing cell phones to check in...Safety regulations require that all children under the age of 18 be supervised by an adult in the waterpark at all times, which should not be a problem if you are there with your younger child. Your teens may enjoy the Kids Spa, Northern Lights Arcade and /gr8_space during their visit. Have fun! Dawn

Children
A trip to Great Wolf Lodge is certain to make you a hero in the eyes of your 4 to 12 year-old. And when their teacher assigns the essay, "What I Did on My Vacation," the huge roster of age-appropriate activities will give them tons to write about. Plus, they'll probably still be wearing their waterpark wristband for show and tell.
Toddlers

Teens / Tweens
They may be too cool for school, but not for Great Wolf Lodge. But there's nothing cooler than lounging on rafts in a lazy river with your friends, or playing video games in a special tech center designed exclusively for them.
