Are there restaurants there to eat at?
Hi Tamieka, In answer to your question, there are lots of places to eat at the Great Wolf Lodge. First there is Loose Moose Cottage which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner - buffet or a la carte. Camp Critter Bar and Grill, Pizza Hut Express, Bear Claws & Paws Sweet Shoppe, Starbucks and Spirit Island Snack Shop (near the pool area). You will definitely find something that you like to eat there. Have fun! Debbie
What kind of nearby restaurants are there outside of the park, and are they within driving or walking distance?
Hi Tonia, There are plenty of places to eat within GWL such as Pizza Hut, The Loose Moose Cottage buffet and the Spirit Island Sanck Shop. My family and I have always eaten at the Lodge and have found it to be good and reasonably priced, but if you wanted to venture outside of GWL there are plenty of restaurants within driving distance for you to choose from. At the concierge's desk (to the right at the check-in desk), there is a book of menus from nearby restaurants Some places even deliver to the GWL. Wherever you choose to eat, I hope it's delicious! Debbie G.
Do the restaurants serve alcohol?
Yes they do. The Loose Moose Cottage serves drinks at the table and there is also a bar, just beyond the buffet room that is nice to sit for a drink. You may also purchase a drink inside the Pool area at the Spirit Island Snack Shop, which sells souvenir GWL plastic pint cups. Also, to the right of the wave pool, just above it is another bar which has a full-service walk-up bar. There are a few counter-height tables and chairs to sit with your drink or you may take it with you. This bar sells drinks only for adults. The PINA COLADAS are great !! :) In the summer time there is usually a bar set up outside too! When we were there for New Years Eve there was also a temporary bar set up in the lobby. They may have it other times too when guest are waiting to check in. Enjoy! Debbie G. GWL Panelist
