Hi Elizabeth, Besides the Northern Lights Arcade like you said, there is Ten Paw Alley, a small bowling alley, Cub Club crafts & activities (some are no charge), MagiQuest (Interactive Wand Game), Story Explorers for younger children, gr8_space for teens. It may benefit you to purchase a Paw Pass- it saves some money. Check it out on the web site at www.greatwolf.com and after you make your booking you will be asked if you want to add any addition al packages to your room such as meals etc... Have fun.Debbie
I AM A SINGLE MOM OF TWO TEENS AGES 16 AND 17 WOULD THEY LIKE THIS PLACE?
Hi Al, I think Great Wolf is a great place for teens! If they love the water, they will have a great time on the water slides, in the wave pool and relaxing in the lazy river. The Northern Lights arcade is a very popular spot for teens, as well as Gr8_space whcih is designed for their age group...Here they will find internet access, Wii, X-box and playstation. If you have girls, the spa offers special packages. Have a great trip! Dawn
My family and I are staying for a weekend and want to utilize the Scooops Spa and other activities. What is a good itinerary for us?
I would start off by making a reservation at Scooops spa. Their availability is the most restricted so I would start with them first. Once I arrived at GWL, I would get a copy of Lodge Life. This has the schedule of all the activities and hours of operation during your stay. I usually let my son look at it and let him make his "game plan". Typically since the Northern Lights Arcade and MagiQuest stay open later than the waterpark and Cub Club, he plans to do those activities later in the evening. We usually start our visit in the waterpark until our room is ready. Once we unpack, it's off to one of the dry activities for a bit, like gr8_space or MagiQuest. After dinner, it's back to the waterpark until closing. A visit to the Northern Lights Arcade and maybe stop for some ice cream. Day 2 would depend on if there are any scheduled activities my son wants to do, like bingo, competitions in gr8_space or in your case Scooops. We always end our trips at the Northern Lights Arcade cashing out our tickets. Just don't try to do too much. This way you will have time to enjoy the activities you have picked. Enjoy.
