Ripley’s Believe It or Not!

Located on Clifton Hill since 1963, the always growing Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Museum still holds on to the reputation as Niagara’s BEST MUSEUM.

Authentic shrunken heads, the world’s rarest egg and two-headed animals are only the beginning here. Housing an impressive collection of the odd, strange and unbelievable from around the world, the museum showcases over 700 mind boggling exhibits, oddities, curiosities and illusions throughout their extraordinarily themed galleries. Several videos and interactive displays allow for a first hand experience leaving you to decide whether you believe it or not!

Take a stroll through what is perhaps the most humorous of cemeteries, containing various gravestones engravings that will make you giggle with disbelief. Among the museum’s many hidden gems is its Niagara Theater where guests are presented with the opportunity to witness ultimate risk first hand. Sit down and relax as you are blown away by the museum’s film showcasing those daredevils brave enough to face the wrath of the falling water, and those who accidentally took a trip over the falls.

Plenty of photo-ops are also scattered around the museum from an 18th Century Spanish Public Humiliation Stock to the world’s tallest man’s Chippendale Chair. Kids of all ages love to engage themselves in Ripley’s Wacky Explorative Room where they are challenged with various curiosities and interactive displays such as the very popular shadow wall. The museum offers any where from an hour to a days worth of first class entertainment making it a must visit for all visitors to the Niagara Region.

After you exit, Ripley’s continues to impress visitors with its Wax Zone where guests are invited to dip their hands in wax to create the perfect personalized souvenir of their visit to Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Niagara Falls.

Safety

How many lifeguards do you have? You’ll see the 100’s of lifeguards we employ as part of our Risk Management Program and you may observe some of the regular drills and tests performed during operations. What you may not see, is the extensive training and certification these guards receive through aquatic risk management authority Ellis & Associates. Ellis & Associates also performs multiple unannounced operational audits each year testing our professionalism, scanning techniques, rescue skills and emergency response. Please be advised that you may see small dolls in the pools during training excercises.
