Are all the Great Wolf activities (aside from the water park) included with the total cost ??? or are there some emenities that have to be paid extra money for ???
There are many activities at Great Wolf lodge that are included in the price of the suite like, the Story Time every evening, Wolf Walk, the Friday night dance party in the lobby, some of the crafts in the Cub Club, and for adults, the Iron Horse Fitness Room. There are also activities that have additional fees, like the new MagiQuest game, it is definitely worth a try. My girls loved it so much we were only in the water park for three hours that day. The rest of our time was spent on the quest. The Northern Lights Arcade video games take tokens that are fairly priced. The Wacky Wilderness Mini Golf which is a family favorite, is available only in the summer months and costs extra. The first three or four times my family went to the Lodge we didn't pay for any extra activities and the kids had a great time, now we play in the arcade and MagiQuest every time we go. Have Fun! I have a disabled son who is in a wheelchair. i am just wondering what activities he could do besides just swimming. he needs help with everything.
The Lodge itself is very accessible, there ramps or elevators that take you to every area of the Lodge. There are also accessible rooms designed with roll-in showers, lower countertops, etc.). As far as the waterpark goes, there are several pools available (zero-depth entry pool, wave pool, lazy river, outdoor pool). Outside of the waterpark, there is of course the stories read by Cub Club staff and the animatronic animals that interact with the children as the stories are told. The show runs daily at 8:00 pm in the Grand Living Room. In the Northern Lights Arcade, there are over 100 games that are for kids of all ages. Children can win a small prize from their game play. Many of the game can be played by disabled children, with minimal assistance. There are also crafts and games and stories in the Kub Klub, which is a favourite of my children. Have Fun!
Hi, my family and I are thinking of visiting Great Wolf Lodge and my son is 3 years old. How much is it for a 3-year-old?
Great Wolf Lodge has activities for kids of all ages, smaller children will love the "kiddie slides" where the slides are designed for riders between 35" and 48" tall, they can also enjoy splashing, stomping in the shallow water, and standing under the waterspouts. Otter Lake Activity Pool is a 4-foot-deep activity pool, that has water basketball nets, and many floating animals including a "snake". The Crystal River is a slow moving tube ride that travels aroung a quarter of the park. The tubes are made to hold one or more people. It is a great way to relax during the afternoon at the Lodge. When it is time to get out of the water, kids can enjoy Story Time at the Grand Lobby looking at all of the animals that move. The Northern Lights Arcade has many kiddie "rides" and games that young children can enjoy. I am sure you and your child will find many things to do at Great Wolf Lodge and create many memories that will last a lifetime. Have Fun!
For a single mom, what suite is best to stay in and why? Also what acitives is best to do?
Ms. Gordon, Really any of the suites will work for you, depending on how many children you have, and their ages. The family suite features 2 queen beds and a sleeper-sofa. The Wolf Den, KidKamp, and KidCabin Suites are also night because it gives the children their "own space." Personally I like to treat myself to the Whirlpool Fireplace Suite for some well deserved mommy relaxation time! There are a lot of activities to do, again depending on the ages of your children. Cub Club features activites that you can do with your children, or drop-off activities if you want time to yourself (the Elements Spa is great for some mommy pampering)! The Parent Free Cub Club activities are for kids ages 4-12. The programs are: Junior Lifeguard, TIny Timbers, and Bugs on a Rug. Each is 2 hours long and costs $15 for the first child, and $5 for each additional sibling. The PJ Party is daily from 7-9:30 and includes craft, activities, and a snack. This costs $30 for the first child, and additional children are $15 each. In room babysitting is available for $20 per hour for the first child, and siblings are $10. We like to end our nights sitting in our jammies listening to Story Time in the Lobby. When weather permits there is a minature golf course outside of the Lodge. The Northern Lights Arcade is also a lot of fun. The buffet breakfasts and dinners at Antler Shantly are nice because they have "kid-friendly" food as food that will appeal to the adults. Also being a single parent, I love Great Wolf as our vacation choice. We get to spend some quality time together and have lots of fun! I hope you enjoy your stay! Kim
Is one night enough, or would you suggest two nights?
Hi Heather! I would definitely suggest 2 nights. You are able to use the waterpark from 1pm on the day you check in (although your room may not be available until 4pm) until close on the day you check out (check-out time is 11am). Spending the 2 nights there allows you to have fun in the waterpark, but also have time to experience the other fun things, such as Cub Club, the Elements Spa, Story Time, the arcade, etc. Spending only one night may not give you the time to do everything that you would like to. I hope you enjoy your trip to Great Wolf!
Nightly Story Time is the perfect ending to your fun filled day at Great Wolf Lodge. Wear your pajamas and enjoy a Great Forest Friends Show followed by favourite bedtime stories told by one of our entertainment crew. Don't forget your cameras as you may want to snap a photo when Wiley or Violet arrives to join in the excitement.
Come and explore with us! Wolf Walk is a nature hike where kids and families learn to howl together. Take a morning walk around our Grand Living Room and learn about the many animals of the Northwoods. Everyone will enjoy making a souvenir origami wolf!
Wolf Walk takes place daily at 9am.
See and hear the friends of the Great Forest Friends Show in the Grand Living Room come to life every morning at 10am! Join Mo the Moose, Mother Bear with her cubs Ivy and Rusty, and all the animals to sing about life in the forest.
