Is Kansas City's GWL all indoors, or do you have to walk outside from your room to the parks and attractions?
Mary, Thanks for the great question. The Waterpark, MagicQuest, Northern Lights Arcade, Spa, Restaurants, Shops and Cub Club are all located inside the hotel and you do NOT have to go outside to get to these. There is an outdoor pool but it closed Labor Day weekend. There is also the GWL Howl in One mini-golf course which is outside but it is only open in-season and weather-permitting. Are there plenty of activities for 15 and 16-year-olds?
RayChel, yes, I have been with families with older teens and they have enjoyed it. When you get to the end of the MagiQuest game, the final challenges are set up for the older population. Some of the teens I've gone with could not complete the game. The waterpark is fun for all ages, and most of the parks have mini-golf as well. Take care, Jennifer H.
