What does Great Wolf have for Dads and Mother/Daughter activities?
Hi Rochelle: Dads, moms and kids can enjoy the waterpark, Northern Lights Arcade, MagiQuest game and depending on the age of your child, Cub Club. Mom and daughter might enjoy a mani or pedi together at Scopops as well.
Do parents have to be with their kids at all times?
Hi Nancy, The answer to your question would depend on the ages of your children. The younger set and children who are weak swimmers should have a parent or other adult nearby at all times. Teenagers are allowed in the waterpark without their parents. It is the group in between that requires a bit more thought. GWL requires that a parent/responsible adult accompany children under 12 into the waterpark. I, as a parent, do not feel I need to follow my 10 year old around the park because he is a strong swimmer. We will pick a table or chair inside the waterpark to call "home". Sometimes I will sit and read a book while he goes and plays and sometimes I will go on the slides with him. As far as the arcade and gr8_space, again it would depend on the ages of the children. Children over 8 can hang out at gr8_space during the day without their parents. There are programs run by the Cub Club where parents aren't allowed (like junior lifeguard) and this allows for some down time (or time to go to the Spa). Hope I answered your question.
