Okay here is the deal and it is warning. I made reservations for three other families and put the deposit on my charge card, two months ago. When each family checked in, they requested that the room be put on their card, for the two night stay. When each of them checked out, the bill under the door showed total charges per room. What it doesn't say, is that half of it was STILL on my card, and the other half on the new card. It took four days of calls, at 20 minutes each, with each reservation number to get it fixed. Mark and Bonnie at the Poconos promised to call me back. But they didn't. Tara on the fourth call finally fixed it. She promised that her boss (bonnie I guess) would call me. Well Bonnie called, did not know the story and promised to call me back. Mark called me twice, I called him five times, and we never spoke. THE BEST part. I had to call each of the other mother's with Great Wolf on the line (yes a conference call) to get permission to put the charge on their card, AND OFF MINE. IT WAS JUST LOVELY. The fix: train the front desk at check in and two, get somone who takes ownership to fix it. Then just apologize. WE HAD A GREAT TIME IN THE POCONOS BUT THIS WAS A MAJOR PAIN IN THE ASS.
