Hi Carolyn! In order for you to utilize the waterpark, you have to be a registered overnight guest of the Lodge. Day passes are not offered. This helps to keep lines to attractions within the waterpark more manageable. On the other hand, you do not have to be an overnight guest to play MagiQuest or dine at Loose Moose Cottage. Does MagiQuest cost extra?

Hi Tami! Yes, playing MagiQuest does cost extra. You'll need to go the MagiQuest store on the 3rd floor of the Lodge to buy a wand. Once you buy your wand you'll have to get it activated by purchasing a game. I think the game is around $10. Then you'll be all set! The great news about MagiQuest is that once you buy a wand, you can use it to play at other MagiQuest locations. All you'll need to do is take your wand with you and pay the fee to activate it at the new location. Our children have used their wands at the GWL MagiQuests in Charlotte and Williamsburg as well as their other locations in Myrtle Beach and Gatlinburg. It's really convenient!
