What do you like best about working at Great Wolf Lodge/Great Wolf Resorts/or Central Reservations?
Of course, the Pack Members and the Great Wolf Culture. We work extremely hard, side by side with each other, but almost always have a lot of fun doing it! Great Wolf is my family in so many ways and I have friends throughout the country within the organization. I also value all of the opportunities that are available throughout the company. You can’t find that everywhere.

In your own words, describe our culture:
At the end of the day we are truly one big family. We laugh together, support each other and challenge each other to be the best we can be. From within the individual properties, to the corporate office and throughout the entire brand, you know there are many people that care about you and are will to go out of their way to help you and cheer you on.

What’s your favorite Great Wolf Lodge/Great Wolf Resorts/ or Central Reservations memory?

After eight years it would be impossible to list just one but I have narrowed it down to three: 1) The Buffalo Chip Throwing Contest (yes as in "buffalo dung") that we had in Traverse City during Buffalofest. It was amazingly disgusting, fun and a bonding time for all involved! 2) Walking down the staircase during the Grapevine Pre-Opening Pep Rally. I was so proud and grateful of all of the Pack Members from our property and also all of the Lodges that came together as a team through hard work to make our opening a success. 3) Every time I see a fellow Pack Member receive a new opportunity through a promotion within the company.  There is always a strong sense of pride and joy in seeing others succeed that have the same passion for the Great Wolf Brand.

What do you like best about working at Great Wolf Lodge/Great Wolf Resorts/or Central Reservations?
There really are two things I like best about working at Great Wolf Resorts: the people and the challenge. The people I work with are some of the most interesting and entertaining individuals I have ever met and they make the work environment fun and exciting. They are committed and dedicated to what they do and the atmosphere of teamwork prevails as others are always willing to help out an individual in need, whether it be with a project nearing its deadline or someone needing a ride home because their car broke down. In addition to the people, the challenge of working for the company inspires me and drives me to work harder and to excel at what I do. The industry is always changing and with that change brings new knowledge and skills and opportunities for the company to grow. My current job challenges me to assist the company in its growth and aid Great Wolf in becoming an industry leader.

In your own words, describe our culture:
Our culture is centered around families and fun. The promise of “We make time for your family” rings true not only for Guests but also for Pack Members as the company provides flexibility and benefits that foster family togetherness. The company prides itself on providing a fun atmosphere for Guests and Pack Members and understands the correlation between and fun work environment and increased productivity and customer satisfaction.

What’s your favorite Great Wolf Lodge/Great Wolf Resorts/ or Central Reservations memory?

Spending time with my coworkers both inside and outside of work. They are some of my best friends and feel like family and it’s sometimes nice to take a break from the Wolf and decompress after a long and crazy day. Recently, Supervisors and Managers from Central Reservations were invited on a Betty Lou dinner cruise on Lake Monona here in Madison and I was invited along even though I now work at the corporate office. It ended up being a group of about 35 people and we all had a wonderful time just mingling and laughing and enjoying each other’s company minus the work atmosphere.

What’s your favorite Great Wolf Lodge/Great Wolf Resorts/ or Central Reservations memory?
My favorite memory is going on the Sales Blitz in 2005 with Chris Salerno. It was my first time ever participating in an event like this and I had no idea what I was in for… Today, I am blessed to have Chris as the leader of the CRES pack.
